The 2010 Academic Improvement Award honored 93  schools across the state of Illinois that posted substantial gains in the state achievement testing.

Mission Statement

North Clay High School exists to serve and educate all students in grades 9 through 12 with a safe learning environment.  Students will become responsible for their own learning and take charge of their own education.  Students will determine their learning goals and acknowledge problems that are meaningful to their future success. We believe that the educational system, including technology, should provide each student with an opportunity to develop to his or her fullest capacity in the areas of mental, physical and emotional needs.

Illinois Virtual High School
Illinois Virtual High School (IVHS) is an Internet educational service delivering a wide range of high school classes online to Illinois students.  With the IVHS, students could take classes that may not be available at North Clay, possibly doesn't work in their schedule, retake classes for graduation and could be taken and completed almost any time.  Check out the above website for more information.
